We rent and lease a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini vans, moving vans, trucks, and panel vans. Our rental options are diverse, allowing customers to rent for a period of days, weeks, or months. Our company strives to keep a fleet that meets the unique needs of our clients. The company had humble beginning in 1990's and now we have 14 offices and rental locations in most of Southern California from Santa Monica to Orange County and from Santa Barbara to San Diego Counties.

Systems Engineer

Conduct research, design, develop and maintain a system including a database to integrate selling, renting and leasing equipment in all Shan Enterprises branches to track inventory and increase profitability and efficiency. Confer with management and personnel from each branch of the company to identify goals of the system and apportion the system into subsystems in each of the functional areas with the use techniques of systems engineering. Assess the information input requirements of leasing, purchasing, selling and financial divisions of the company at each branch, design processing steps and prepare format for output to meet specific requirements at each area. Conduct a cost/benefit analysis to assess the financial stability of setting up the system. Design a system of hardware, software and network to analyze the internal and external information and access it. Allow for network access from all branches of Shan Enterprises. Prepare specifications and diagrams and write specific computer programs to integrate with readily available software programs. Coordinate tests to determine systems performance in relation to specified goals. Implement the system on an ongoing basis and make appropriate modifications as needed including debugging to eliminate errors. Prepare a technical user-friendly manual for management and other personnel to use. Serve as an in-house expert and update the systems as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Systems Engineering with courses in Accounting Control Systems and related areas.
